He had been a resident of the Baraboo vicinity for most of his life and will be remembered here for the active part he took in church work. Surviving are six sons; George of Wisconsin Dells, John of Richland Center, Edward of Rockford Ill., Calvin of Bradley Ill., the Rev Curtis Coolidge of Phoenix, Arizona, and the Rev Ardee Coolidge, who is in missionary work in Argentina, one daughter, Mrs. Melbourne Hirst of Reedsburg; 25 grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Miss Katherine Bretsch of Baraboo. His wife Marie had preceded him in death in 1952. The funeral of Mr. Coolidge will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM at the Scheible funeral home with the Rev Dudley Cook of the Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hills Cemetary. Memorial gifts are being made to the Rev. Ardee Coolidge's mission work. Insurance office was at 112 King. The 1909 BELL Telephone Book listed the same company only then the address was at 3 and 4 Hub block. His residence was still listed at 515 East Johnson. The 1910 Bell Telephone book listed him as Manager of N. W. Casuality Company. Business address of 191 N. Hamilton, with a residence address at 1243 East Mifflin. | |||
